2009 PATS Athletic Trainer River Run Scholarship Awardees

Short term goals:Graduate from Duquesne University with a Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training.  Following graduation I plan to attend Graduate School and earn a Master's degree in Athletic Training.

Long term plans: I sometimes wonder if, in the future, my niche will be found sharing my Athletic Training knowledge and enthusiasm for the profession with others as teacher.

Perhaps I will obtain a dual position as an Athletic Trainer while teaching undergraduate classes and working with athletics at the university level. I also have hopes to share what Athletic Training has taught me through writing, whether it be for the NATA or another source. I am very open minded to where Athletic Training can take me.  I definitely have several goals for my future, but if things were to take me in a direction I may not have planned, I am very open to opportunity.
